Scrappy chickie...
I have been scrapbooking since my DD was about 1 (so since 1999!) and fell in love with it at the first Class I went to (one of my aunts hosted a CM class). I started with one CM album, a few markers and some paper from Walmart and a TON of photos! Since then, I've slowly built up my collection of tools & supplies, and also my personal skills & abilities! Now I enjoy scrapbooking as a hobby, a craft, something I do for my family, something I do for "me time", as a healing and meditative project, and even sometimes as something I can control and manage in small bits and pieces when life is overwhelming. :)

I always feel a sense of satisfaction when I'm able to complete an album! Yes, often the fun is in the journey, in the making of it, but it's also great to have a finished project to show off to family and friends. I was actually surprised to find that there aren't more scrapbooking rings out there, especially ones for scrapbooking moms (who else scrapbooks MORE than we do!?) ;) so I started a webring for scrapbooking moms, and just recently also started a scrapbook ring specifically for *young* moms who love the scrap!
