About My Education | ||
THIS PAGE HAS MOVED! You'll find the updated version of this page there, or you can search the blog to find info on the subject. As a young married mommy, I blog about anything and everything from my experiences surviving PPD and OCD, to coping with pain from car accident injuries, to daily life with kids, to scrapbooking and card-making, to blogging and internet/new media topics. Being a University Mommie was kinda fun and lotsa work!
In June 2003, I graduated with my B.A. honours in Psychology, and my B.A. concentration in Women's Studies. I graduated cum laude, which means "with honours". The uni I attended was University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada. I always knew I wanted to go to university, and just because I became a parent at a younger age than I expected did not mean that this goal was brushed aside! I went "back to school" when Harmony was 9 months old and graduated less than 4 years later, when she was 4 and a half. It was much harder to go through university while being a parent, but it was worth it. My education is something that no one can ever take away from me, and it is valuable to myself and my family. I know Harmony is proud of her mommy for going to school, and I hope someday she will realize how valuable a higher education is, and pursue one herself. I have shown her that nothing can make you give up your dreams and that if you work really hard, you will succeed. University/Student Mom Webrings I belong to
